My name is Tony Lewis, I have always had a love for shooting and hunting. Archery and bow hunting are a passion for me and my family. I enjoy hunting in Arizona, and have been successful at harvesting several big game animals. I am happy shooting in any archery competitions, but 3D is where I am the most comfortable. I like to be outdoors competing and sharing the sport with my friends and family in the archery community. Sharing my knowledge and teaching new archers is important to me. I have seen the great positive impact that archery has on people’s lives, so I believe in promoting the sport and sharing it with anyone who is interested. I am a 29 year veteran of the United States Army. As a Chief Warrant Officer 4, I specialize in logistics and property management. I have been fortunate to serve my country at home and in several tours overseas. I served in Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan 2007-2008). I am thankful for the opportunity to support the Arizona Archery Club. The owners and staff have always supported me and helped me become a better archer.

1983-1992 Began archery with my daughter as a Father/Daughter thing but she soon decided that ballet was far more interesting. I continued as i enjoyed the competitive aspect of the sport. During this time, I became a shooter at The Archers Den where I met Al Henderson. With his guidance I became State Indoor and Southwest Sectional Champion from 1986-1990 except 1989. 1994-1998 Started bowling and by April 26th of 1997 had bowled a 299 game and was maintaining a 200+ average. 2008-Present Renewed my interest in Archery and in 2009 qualified to compete in the Senior Olympics in Houston, Texas. As of January 2016 I have now held the Arizona State Indoor Championship Senior for the past three years. I am listed as member #1 at the Arizona Archery Club and am currently a Pro Staff Shooter for them. I currently hold a level II coaching license.
